Traveling The World with my humans

Today was a special day my mistress looked forward to - a lot. In 2018 my mistress‘s nephew was born and she has only seen him once since then. Well, of course we were in the USA and Canada and only returned to Germany in May 2019, so there wasn‘t much chance. So today was the great day to see Enno for the second time and this time in more privacy since last time when all the family was present. Enno is a cute little boy. At first he was a little scared by me, well understandable, I am almost as tall as he is when I stand on my four feet. I was tempted to just lick over his face because he smelled so good. Don‘t worry, I know how to behave and did not do that. My humans talked a lot to my mistress‘s sister and her husband. They had a lot to catch up on. Talking about my mistress‘s sister and her husband (let’s call them He and She) I have to tell you a story that is funny somehow, especially looking back. The house we are currently living in is an old house. I don‘t know how old but you can tell, it is very old. We only use one room where we sleep and during the day my humans move the mattress and set up the table to work. Well of course there is a kitchen, a toilet and a shower. The rest of the house still has all the belongings of the man that used to live in here before he passed away. One half of the house still belongs to Mrs. B. Mrs. B is 95 years old. She has problems walking but she is still fit in her head. My humans help her around the house, to sort stuff and things like that. My mistress is impressed; Mrs. B has very old books and amazing things like a Laterna Magica and more. And all the old pictures and letters from Mrs. B’s grandparents she kept. Just imagine, she is 95 years old so her grand parents must have been born around 1875. That was shortly after Prussia was in war with Austria and France. The last couple of days were quiet, my humans worked on projects like the web site for the FlyHuLodge, the husky farm we just visited in Swedish Lapland. In the afternoon we went to Peter‘s mother’s house. When we arrived there were packed suitcases in the hallway. My master packed the suitcases in the car and we all left to Frankfurt Airport. Frankfurt, Airport - that‘s where we left when we went to the USA or Canada. Are we traveling again? Did I miss something? The humans lined up in front of a check in counter along with other people. When it was our turn Peter‘s mother was checked in. Bummer, I hoped we would travel again, maybe back to the desert in Pahrump or maybe to Canada. Instead my humans and I left and returned home. I can‘t tell you how disappointed I am. I really miss traveling. Meeting new people, see new places, smell unknown things, that‘s so exiting. October 15, 2019 - On our way home Two weeks ago the dad of my master’s best friend passed away, shortly after we arrived in Arvidsjaur. He was like a second Dad to my master and my master is very sad. The funeral is at the end of this week. My master wants to be at the funeral and give him a last farewell. So my humans decided to go back to Germany. We were meant to stay three months in Swedish Lapland but sometimes thing don’t go as planned. Also my humans had the feeling they could not have enough time for their own business. Internet is limited where we were and although my mistress bought something to use the Internet, something called cellular or SIM card, the reception was bad. Plus, they were too tired to do much in the evenings. I liked it a lot in Swedish Lapland. I running around and play with the other dogs. There was so much to sniff and experience besides all the dogs gossip. My humans were very sad we had to leave already because they liked it there and they liked

It started snowing yesterday afternoon and now we do have a little snow. It’s not much; not enough for a dog sled but even a little snow is great for me. I like rolling in the snow. Snow also means it’s cold and there is no mud in the kennels any more or anywhere else. My humans will make a new website for Marianne and Wolf and therefore my mistress took pictures of every single dog today. Of course the dogs did not pose, they tried to cuddle and play while my master cleaned the kennel and my mistress tried to take pictures. Meanwhile I had to stay in the camper. I had to stay there for the last couple of days because I tried to jump Stella, she is in heat and I would love to have some kids myself. From the camper I could see my humans and hear them. This afternoon my master was on the training wagon for the first time. For the first time he experienced the strength of the 12 dogs when they pull the wagon. Meanwhile we moved from the house into a camper. The camper is big and has a shower, toilet and kitchen and is very warm inside. I am allowed to sleep on the bed with my humans. My humans get all the meals in the house while I have my food either with the other dogs or in the camper. After breakfast my mistress cleans all the kennels, gives the dogs fresh water and cuddles all of them. They all enjoy that very much just as I do. Luckily I still get more attention from my mistress than all the other dogs and I am the only one that is allowed in my human’s bed. My master helps building stuff. This afternoon my humans and Wolf built a roof for a little room next to the kennels where all the harnesses and dog bowls are stored. It took them a while to do that. Sometimes there is other stuff my humans help with, like installing lamps on the outside of the house, feed the dogs and help putting on the harnesses and tie them to the training cart. October 1, 2019 - HELP, these puppies are eating me alive! Today my humans made me join the puppies in their kennel. I walked in there and suddenly the five puppies were all over me, pinching me everywhere. I had to tell them to stop but they did not listen. I even had to growl to make them stop but they did not listen. After I stayed in there for a while they lost interest in me, stopped and played together. Laponia was in the kennel too and she helped me calming them down. Although I tried to stop them I had pinch marks everywhere. There is one kennel where the females in heat are kept. Stella is in there during the day too. These females drive us boys nuts. Costa is in the kennel right next to them and he is out of his mind about the females. He does not like me being near his kennel and he tells me that in a very convincing way. I like teasing him but only because I know there is a fence between us. I am not sure what he would do to me if he could get ahold of me and I don’t r
