May 29, 2019 – A surprise brings back memories

Today my humans decided to return to a place we used to go before we left Germany, where they usually walked me. As soon as we drove through the part of Frankfurt where we used to live I knew where we were and got all excited. I thought we might just drive through there; we passed the house where we used to live when my humans first got me. Everything looked so familiar, nothing had changed. Can you believe it; they went for a walk with me right where we used to go before we went to the USA and Canada. There are different crops on the fields now but everything else just remained the same. I knew exactly where I was and where I had to go and where to stop and wait for my humans. That was so – WOW. I can’t believe I am back here again. Just for a visit, but back. My humans enjoyed it too; they talked a lot about old times and what we used to do. Amy, the dog that stayed with us when her mistress was on duty as a flight attendant, and I had a lot of fun here. I remember once we chased a f

May 28, 2019 – Green stuff, no Green Sauce

I have to tell you about this, my humans are crazy. Today they had something for dinner called “Gruene Sauce” in English Green Gravy. At first when my mistress started to prepare that I thought she is preparing a meal for a horse or a cow. Everything was stuff you can find on a lawn. But when she started washing, cutting and blending it I wondered which horse or cow would eat it like that. Before I continue let me tell you the ingredients: parsley, chive, chervil, cress, burnet, sorrel and borage. After it was in the blender it looked like mush and my mistress added yoghurt, mustard, hardboiled eggs, pepper and salt. I am fine with the eggs and the yoghurt but all the other stuff – NO THANK YOU! I think this was the first time I did not want to have some of my human’s food. They had it together with potatoes in the skin. You should have heard them; they were like in seventh heaven and liked it so much. They could tell by my face that I thought that’s disgusting. So they tried to expl

May 23, 2019 – Hello Germany

After we landed in Frankfurt, picked up all our suitcases we were picked up by Peter’s mom. My mistress and I did not fit in the car and so my master went with his mom and came back to pick us up. My humans were very tired; they couldn’t sleep on the airplane although it was dark and somehow in the middle of the night, well at least in Germany, not for us. I was the only one that had a lot of sleep in the airplane, might have been because I had room to lie down and stretch my legs. Karin made something to eat for my humans. They call it Spargel (white asparagus) but I didn’t like the smell of it but I did like the smell of the ham and Schinken that was served with it. As usual I didn’t get anything to eat from the good stuff. Instead my humans bought some dog food at the groceries, I didn’t like it too much and it made me, excuse my language, fart a lot. Somehow the faces of my humans always turned green when I did that, I didn’t thing it was that bad. My humans decided to stay aw

May 22/23, 2019 – Leaving Las Vegas, Nevada, the United States of America

All good things come to an end sooner or later. Yesterday my humans had an appointment at the IRS to apply for the ITIN. Don’t ask me what the IRS means or an ITIN. Of what I heard most of the people here hate the IRS and don’t like going there but I did not have the feeling my humans did not want to go there. They were even happy when we left the building. They tried to explain to me what the ITIN is but I did not understand, just that getting this would be important to be able to go back to the USA and be able to live and work here. In this case I am all for getting this thing. After being at the IRS my humans continued packing all our stuff. Some of it is already at Ken’s house as we don’t need it for now and worst case it could be send via cargo. But there is so much more left that needs to be taken to Germany. Some other things will be donated to whoever wants or needs it in the apartment building and if nobody wants it, it will be tossed. My mistress spent hours to pack that on
