Traveling The World with my humans

I am sure you have seen pictures of our van. That nice white van with the rainbow on the sides. Tim does not really like it because of the rainbow colors but my humans like it very much as the colors match the colors of their company logo by coincidence. Today my humans decided to go to Timmins to do groceries. First stop was the gas station in Dubiens. There is no self-service at the gas stations here but someone puts the gas in the tank for you. This is very convenient in the winter when you pay cash as you don’t have to leave the car. This guy had a neon yellow hoody on and when we arrived with the van his eyes got bigger and bigger and he said “I love this, I just love this van!”. Later when we drove through Timmins a couple of people showed us a thumb up when the drove by or stood next to us on a red light. My humans plan on putting stickers on the van, flowers, balloons and even a picture of me. Wow, I must really be famous if they put a picture of me on the van. I wonder how

You all probably can imagine that I can’t write and read although I am writing this blog. My mistress is my secretary and I tell her what to write. After she wrote it she has to read it to me to make sure she didn’t get anything wrong. I am a perfectionist. Now you might think, how come my mistress understands me. She is a human being and I am a dog and we do not speak the same language. From the first second I met my mistress when I was only 3 weeks old she knew what I felt. After I moved in with my humans she was the one that always understood best what I needed. The last couple of years she could read my mind like an open book and there is nothing I can hide from her. Trust me, this is not always easy for me as I do have my private thoughts too. Dictating this to her is even worth. I thought of this quite a while. I wasn’t sure if I should talk about my theory in public, to all of you. You might think I am crazy after all. But I would like to hear your opinion on that, as I am

My humans and I moved into the camper. A different camper than last year, it’s more comfortable. One of my humans takes me to the lake every day so I can have a bath and have fun. Well, there is plenty of fun on the property. Sometimes there are a lot of dogs around. Most of all I enjoy playing with my friend Diesel. We love to run and chase each other. Sally and Silver are not that much fun, they don’t play with me and at the beach they try to bite me when I chase the stick in the water. They don’t go in the water, well not really, they stay on the beach. Snoop Dog and Ice Cube are the new dogs on the property. They belong to Reggie. Snoop Dog is a Chihuahua and Ice Cube, he is still a baby is some other kind of dog. Snoop Dog behaves like he is the boss here. Seriously? I don’t think so. Diesel and I are way bigger than Snoop Dog but never the less he barks at us and tries to scare us away. Ice Cube on the other hand is cute, he is a little afraid of us big ones. Sometimes Silver

We woke up early this morning, very early. For me it was in the middle of the night. The truck next to us left and that woke us up. My humans told me that we would arrive at Tim’s house today. We still had to drive some more hours. From the town where we spent the night it was 211 km to the next town called Hearst. Good thing the tank of our van was full. I was tired and so I slept most of the time on our way to Tim’s place. Early afternoon we arrived and Silver and Sally were barking and Tim came out of the house when my mistress honked. As soon as the van stopped my mistress made sure I can jump out of the van and say hello to everybody and – run. Tim called me to say hello but I was so excited to be able to run again, I hardly noticed him. All I wanted to do is run on that soft grass, stretch my legs and read the newspaper. We got up early and it was very windy outside. My humans took a shower, had breakfast and made sure everything was put away safely in the van. After checking out we left Duluth and drove along the shoreline of Lake Superior. Lake Superior is considered the largest freshwater lake in the world, at least by surface area. It competes with Lake Baikal in Russia, which is the largest freshwater lake in the world by volume. The shoreline of Lake Superior stretches 2,726 miles (4.387 km). Well, that explains why we drove along the shoreline for such a long time. I always tried to catch a view on the lake but there were trees everywhere. It was a bumpy road as the roads were bad and the wind blowing from the lake was very strong. It’s about time we arrive at Tim’s place, I am tired of sitting in the car and not be able to run around. I wonder how much longer it will take. My humans told me we would probably arrive there the next day. We stopped at a nice place called Grand Marais. I n
