November 30, 2019 - Enno

Today was a special day my mistress looked forward to - a lot. In 2018 my mistress‘s nephew was born and she has only seen him once since then. Well, of course we were in the USA and Canada and only returned to Germany in May 2019, so there wasn‘t much chance.
So today was the great day to see Enno for the second time and this time in more privacy since last time when all the family was present.
Enno is a cute little boy. At first he was a little scared by me, well understandable, I am almost as tall as he is when I stand on my four feet. I was tempted to just lick over his face because he smelled so good. Don‘t worry, I know how to behave and did not do that. My humans talked a lot to my mistress‘s sister and her husband. They had a lot to catch up on.

Talking about my mistress‘s sister and her husband (let’s call them He and She) I have to tell you a story that is funny somehow, especially looking back.
Before He and She got married He had a bachelor party. His twin brother, both looking alike, was at the bachelor party too. He and his twin brother jumped off a small wall, about 15 inch / 40 cm high. They both fell and broke their foot. One of them broke the left foot and the other one the right foot. They both got into hospital and were in one room. The wedding took place with both of them using crutches. Today they laugh about this but it must have hurt.

I love kids and it was fun seeing Enno. My mistress enjoyed it a lot!

After living in Italy for about a month now I can say I love it. The climate is perfect for me and my old bones and whenever the weather is good my humans leave the office door open so that Mogli and I can lie outside on the patio in the sun. Mediterranean Sea and running free in Broccostella – October 17, 2021

We left early the next morning. The humans had breakfast at the B&B while Mogli and I waited patiently in our room. Next stop was Broccostella where we would stay for a couple of days.   Again my humans chose to drive along the coastline as long as possible and luckily they did because shortly after we left Piombino my master saw a sign with “dog beach” written on it. Finally, Mogli and I could feel sand under our paws, feel the sun on our fur and run on the beach. Mogli wasn’t sure if he liked it, he was very skeptical about this weird feeling on the paws and the salty, moving water. After a while he loved it but he did not go into the water. I tried to walk into the sea but it was cold – too cold for me anyways. Mogli. loves joggers - September 15, 2021

 My mistress is busy painting walls, doors, ceilings and furniture. Because my humans do "Living for work" they help around the house wherever help is needed. In return they can live in a room, apartment or camper for free and sometimes even food is included. So, my mistress goes painting a few hours every day whereas my master does other things, like repairs.  I can't smell much chemicals when my mistress comes back after doing paint jobs. She uses chalk colors. In the pictures you can see some things she painted. before - after After my humans finish their work around here, they work on their software or walk us dogs.
