I might have mentioned that my humans are balloon artists. Yes, I know, that’s not very common. They make crazy stuff out of balloons and just a couple of days ago they published software for balloon artists. My master told me that they could create their own designs with that software and show it to their customers because most of the customers don’t have enough imagination to imagine what it would look like. My master did all the coding for this for the last couple of months and my mistress works on the tutorial and other things like websites. Some call me lucky as my humans work from home, wherever that is in our case, instead of going to an office every day while I had to stay at home all by myself. I assure you, I prefer it the way it is now, being with my humans 24 hours a day. Sorry, I was side tracked, a bad habit. Back to balloon twisting. My humans have a very project they try to realize. They want to build a Balloon Circus World. I don’t know what a circus is but I was to

April 13, 2018 – Shopping

If only I would have known my humans wanted to go on a shopping tour I might have stayed at home, or maybe not because I love going shopping. Today my humans had to make some shopping. First we went to Home Depot. That’s a store where you can get all kind of tools and things you need for construction. My humans looked at the gas grills they offered for sale. They were wandering around for a while until they finally found what they wanted. Off we went to the next stop, CVS. This is a shop where you can purchase your medicine and health care stuff but also dog treats. Unfortunately they only had dog treats I don’t like. My humans got what they wanted and we went to the next store, Walmart. I already told you I love Walmart because it smells so good. My humans got me some treats and some other stuff they needed for making dinner that night. But as they could not get anything they needed we went to Albertsons next. Here you can get food; almost everywhere is food. Awesome, I love thi

As you know my humans and I are in Nevada. Nevada is also called the Silver State because silver played an important role in its history and economy. Its native name is Sage-hen State due to the many sage bushes. The Shoshone, Paiute and Washoe tribes inhabited the land that is now Nevada. The first Europeans that explored the region were the Spanish. It became the 36th state in 1864. Nevada is largely desert, well I figured that much by just looking around. Much of Nevada is within the Great Basin, the areas south of the Great Basin are within the Mojave Desert, while Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada lie on the western edge. In the earlier times Nevada was not populated very much. I completely understand why, there is nothing but dust, bushes and cactuses around here. How would somebody want to live here? Ok, I admit the mountains are beautiful as they change the color during the day depending on the weather and the time of the day. Yes, the sunsets are awesome and the night sky

Today was my mistress’ birthday. I know what birthday means; do you think I’m stupid? I am a well-educated dog! Well, depending on what you would call educated. I can tell by sniffing if that pee on the tree is from a male or female dog, a big one or a small one or even not from a dog at all. Also I can tell if I am hungry or tired and I am also capable of telling my humans that or tell them that I have to go and mind my private business. Not to forget, I understand and speak several languages. Where was I, ah, yes, birthday. In the morning my humans sat on their stupid monitors where they moved their fingers on something they call keyboard and mouse. They keep telling me what they do is work and that this provides them with the necessary money to buy my food. No, no, don’t get me wrong, I am fine with this as long as I get my food and they let me sleep. Shush, I was sidetracked again. As I said, they went back to “work” again and after a while my mistress got up and went into the k

March 25, 2018 – Have you ever been to the beach of the Pacific Ocean?

When I came to the United States of America in 2015 we flew from Frankfurt/Main to Los Angeles. A terrible long flight I can assure you, but this is another story. After we landed in Los Angeles on December 27, 2015 we stayed in a hotel in Los Angeles. The next morning, after my mistress picked up the rental car, we drove to Pahrump. Well, not right away. First my humans went to a place called Huntington Beach so that I could run on the beach. Back than I didn’t know what they were talking about. What is a beach and what is an ocean? When we arrived at the beach I could smell it, it smelled like fish and salt and, mmh, I do not know what, let’s say it smelled like ocean. Huntington Beach is one of the few beaches in the Los Angeles area where dogs are allowed to run free. There were a lot of dogs. Back than I did not understand English and I could not talk to the other dogs. No, just joking. Of course all dogs from all over the world speak the same language. I mentioned in one of

Did I mention that there are more people in the house than usually? Mary and her grandson are staying here for a while. That little boy is younger than my friend Cameron and hardly leaves his room. I think he might be afraid of me. That I can’t understand. I am the most friendly dog ever. Every time he comes out of his room I try to get in contact with him and he is not that afraid any more. Sometimes he and the other kids and teenagers in the house are too loud for me. When this happens I crawl under the desk where my humans are sitting and I hide. Yesterday the mother of that little boy came here, all the way from California to see him and her mother. And Sarah, Noelani’s friend was here and spent the night here. All the kids but Cameron left in the late morning with the visitors from California. Mary started to cook Philippine food. Lumpia she called it and something made out of noodles, she said these were cornstarch noodles with vegetables. I watched her filling and rolling t
