Mediterranean Sea and running free in Broccostella – October 17, 2021

We left early the next morning. The humans had breakfast at the B&B while Mogli and I waited patiently in our room. Next stop was Broccostella where we would stay for a couple of days.

Again my humans chose to drive along the coastline as long as possible and luckily they did because shortly after we left Piombino my master saw a sign with “dog beach” written on it.

Finally, Mogli and I could feel sand under our paws, feel the sun on our fur and run on the beach. Mogli wasn’t sure if he liked it, he was very skeptical about this weird feeling on the paws and the salty, moving water. After a while he loved it but he did not go into the water. I tried to walk into the sea but it was cold – too cold for me anyways.

We spent more than half an hour on the beach before we went back to the car and drove on.

In the early afternoon we arrived in Broccostella, at the Agriturismo La Pesca Villa www.facebook.com/agriturismolapesca.

Miriam, the owner, welcomed us warmly and showed us our room. Well, room is not really correct, it was a little apartment with a bed room, living room and bath room. Very nice, especially the big meadow in front of the building where Mogli and I could run free. And we ran, and ran, and ran. I slowed down after a while but kept on walking around whereas Mogli ran to and fro.

In the evening our humans picked up a pizza and had dinner in the apartment. We had a great night.
