September 14, 2019 - Cleaning

My humans got the offer to stay in a small house for a while and in return they would clean out the house. The person that lived in the house before recently passed away and everything but the furniture had to be removed. There are lots of clothes, books and other stuff in the house. So now my humans separate clothes, garbage and things that can be sold at the flea market.
They have been busy for a couple of days and when they managed to clean out one room we moved in. It is not finished yet but the remains are mainly books that need to go into the paper trash and some personal belongings that remain in the house for now.
The house has a small garden and I can go outside whenever I like to, well at least during the day when the weather is nice.

While my humans sleep on an air mattress for now I have the couch to sleep on all by myself.

So far it seems this is just temporary because my humans have plans. I’ll keep you posted.

After living in Italy for about a month now I can say I love it. The climate is perfect for me and my old bones and whenever the weather is good my humans leave the office door open so that Mogli and I can lie outside on the patio in the sun. Mediterranean Sea and running free in Broccostella – October 17, 2021

We left early the next morning. The humans had breakfast at the B&B while Mogli and I waited patiently in our room. Next stop was Broccostella where we would stay for a couple of days.   Again my humans chose to drive along the coastline as long as possible and luckily they did because shortly after we left Piombino my master saw a sign with “dog beach” written on it. Finally, Mogli and I could feel sand under our paws, feel the sun on our fur and run on the beach. Mogli wasn’t sure if he liked it, he was very skeptical about this weird feeling on the paws and the salty, moving water. After a while he loved it but he did not go into the water. I tried to walk into the sea but it was cold – too cold for me anyways. Mogli. loves joggers - September 15, 2021

 My mistress is busy painting walls, doors, ceilings and furniture. Because my humans do "Living for work" they help around the house wherever help is needed. In return they can live in a room, apartment or camper for free and sometimes even food is included. So, my mistress goes painting a few hours every day whereas my master does other things, like repairs.  I can't smell much chemicals when my mistress comes back after doing paint jobs. She uses chalk colors. In the pictures you can see some things she painted. before - after After my humans finish their work around here, they work on their software or walk us dogs.
