July 1, 2019 – Visiting my mom

We had to leave Peter’s moms house because she has a dog hair allergy and can’t deal with it any longer. My humans had three opportunities where we could go until we find an apartment but all them backed up with different reasons as family emergencies, sickness etc. Luckily my mom agreed to have us for a couple of days. No, not my four-legged mom. Unfortunately my four-legged mom passed away in April at the age of 14. I would have loved to meet her again. My human mom agreed to have us. She is such a kind person and she loved me and my brothers so much. We had a great childhood while we lived there. My dog aunt also passed away so the only dog left in my mom’s house is Sam.

My mom and her partner welcomed us and we had a few wonderful days. We went for long walks along the river Rheine and I played with Sam.

Did I tell you I love my two-legged mom? I remember when I was a little puppy she took such good care of me and showed my brothers and me the world. I met my brothers after we all left to our new families. I was the first one that left, just fair because I am the firstborn. My brothers are Luigi and Gino. Luigi almost looks like me; just his face is a little different. His is divided in two halves and mine is not.

After living in Italy for about a month now I can say I love it. The climate is perfect for me and my old bones and whenever the weather is good my humans leave the office door open so that Mogli and I can lie outside on the patio in the sun. We made tours to some towns around here, for example Olevano Romano. And we’ve been to the centro storico of Serrone, our hometown. Mediterranean Sea and running free in Broccostella – October 17, 2021

We left early the next morning. The humans had breakfast at the B&B while Mogli and I waited patiently in our room. Next stop was Broccostella where we would stay for a couple of days.   Again my humans chose to drive along the coastline as long as possible and luckily they did because shortly after we left Piombino my master saw a sign with “dog beach” written on it. Finally, Mogli and I could feel sand under our paws, feel the sun on our fur and run on the beach. Mogli wasn’t sure if he liked it, he was very skeptical about this weird feeling on the paws and the salty, moving water. After a while he loved it but he did not go into the water. I tried to walk into the sea but it was cold – too cold for me anyways. Mogli. loves joggers - September 15, 2021

 My mistress is busy painting walls, doors, ceilings and furniture. Because my humans do "Living for work" they help around the house wherever help is needed. In return they can live in a room, apartment or camper for free and sometimes even food is included. So, my mistress goes painting a few hours every day whereas my master does other things, like repairs.  I can't smell much chemicals when my mistress comes back after doing paint jobs. She uses chalk colors. In the pictures you can see some things she painted. before - after After my humans finish their work around here, they work on their software or walk us dogs. Sometimes we walk up the hill to the big cross or to the little oratory. Other times we drive to the woods or to the field on top on one of the hills. Mogli and I can run free there.
