December 31, 2018 – I fell in love again but this time it’s different

We visited Hermy again. I fell in love with Hermy because she always gives me treats, very special treats I wouldn’t get from my humans. Sometimes I get some ham, some crackers, Christmas cookies, cake or other yummy things. This time I got some blueberry cake with whipped cream, milk and a slice of ham. Hermy is the best. She must have been a dog in an earlier life how else would she know what a dog wants?
Hermy and my humans talked a lot.
They said it’s New Years Eve. This is a day I don’t like too much. Back in Germany this was a horrible day. The humans shot rockets in the sky and made a lot of noises. I was scared by that and didn’t know where to hide. My humans told me it’s ok and that I will be fine but that didn’t help me. Last year we spent that day at Tim’s house in Connaught and there was no noise. The years before that we were in the desert and there were no fireworks either. But I did not know what would happen here in Port Hope.
Luckily there was no firework here in Port Hope and I had a nice weekend with my humans.

After living in Italy for about a month now I can say I love it. The climate is perfect for me and my old bones and whenever the weather is good my humans leave the office door open so that Mogli and I can lie outside on the patio in the sun. Mediterranean Sea and running free in Broccostella – October 17, 2021

We left early the next morning. The humans had breakfast at the B&B while Mogli and I waited patiently in our room. Next stop was Broccostella where we would stay for a couple of days.   Again my humans chose to drive along the coastline as long as possible and luckily they did because shortly after we left Piombino my master saw a sign with “dog beach” written on it. Finally, Mogli and I could feel sand under our paws, feel the sun on our fur and run on the beach. Mogli wasn’t sure if he liked it, he was very skeptical about this weird feeling on the paws and the salty, moving water. After a while he loved it but he did not go into the water. I tried to walk into the sea but it was cold – too cold for me anyways. Mogli. loves joggers - September 15, 2021

 My mistress is busy painting walls, doors, ceilings and furniture. Because my humans do "Living for work" they help around the house wherever help is needed. In return they can live in a room, apartment or camper for free and sometimes even food is included. So, my mistress goes painting a few hours every day whereas my master does other things, like repairs.  I can't smell much chemicals when my mistress comes back after doing paint jobs. She uses chalk colors. In the pictures you can see some things she painted. before - after After my humans finish their work around here, they work on their software or walk us dogs.
